To meet increasing worldwide customer demand, four years ago in June 2015, Diam Bouchage opened a new cork treatment plant using the ‘Diamant®’ process, at its Céret site in the Pyrénées-Orientales.
Among the various scenarios considered, the group made the choice to invest in France and develop its headquarters’ existing site. This project was supported by the Communauté de Commune du Vallespir, the Conseil Général des Pyrénées Orientales, the Languedoc-Roussillon region, the State and Europe (ERDF).
This 2,000 m2 extension was designed to offer our customers the opportunity to discover the manufacturing process of our products under the best conditions. Professional and informative, the plant visits are valuable discussion opportunities during which our customers may ask all the questions they have about production, R&D, quality, trade, etc. … to the relevant people.
We are very pleased and proud to have had more than 3,500 visitors on our site since the opening of DIAMANT III.
