For the 50th anniversary of Grupo Rioja, Diam decided to reserve its 2019 traditional morning conference for the members of the association of the 50 largest bodegas in the region.
This year’s theme was dedicated to digital: B2B and B2C Market Places or how to improve online visibility and take advantage of these new distribution channels?
This ‘Jornada Diam’ brought together nearly 65 people, including the managers and marketing departments from the invited bodegas and who, according to Iñigo Torres, General Manager of Grupo Rioja, are all anxious to develop their presence in these sales channels and to make up for Rioja’s lateness to the game.
The contributions from web giants, Amazon and Alibaba-Tmall Global as well as specialist companies Mirakl, Webhelp and JIG, fascinated the participants.
The conference ended with a tasting of Diam corked wines from around the world and a meal served with wines from the group’s various bodegas.
