02 June 2016
On the 2nd of June, Diam Bouchage once again caused a stir by bringing together fifty owners of wine houses emblematic of the region for the first Rendezvous Diam in the region at Villa Brignac (Ollioules).
This assembly was an opportunity for the journalist and presenter Franck Ferrand (he presents ‘In the heart of history’ broadcast on Europe 1) to address a topic of which he is enthusiast and expert: the relationship between history and wine.
Louis XIV, Montesquieu, Madame de Pompadour… The great names of history are effectively intimately related to wine. The insight provided by the journalist and historian on this subject provided the present owners with the opportunity to best capitalise on this heritage, notably in Provence, historically home to the first French vineyards, to better promote their wine and find the inspiration to improve their growth.
During the closing lunch, the owners of the great houses of wine in attendance spoke of their selection of ‘grands wines’ corked with Diam closures that were available for tasting.
Every year, the Rendezvous Diam unites those responsible for the emblematic Domains and Houses and Diam Bouchage customers in each wine region, under the banner of a club of excellence, offering them the opportunity to interact with specialist speakers, experts and figures of international stature at a prestigious venue.
Diam Bouchage provides its customers with a unique occasion: accessing information on strategic subjects of major interest that is otherwise difficult to find and assists them in better understanding their environment and market.
